From music over acting to photography
The actor and musician Pasquale Aleardi demonstrates his versability in more than 80 national and international TV and feature film productions like “Resident Evil”, “Keinohrhasen”, “Gotthard” or in his own TV crime series, as “Detective Dupin”, an adaptation of the best selling novels. 2017 Aleardi won the Swiss TV award for Best Actor for his performance in “Gotthard”. Ever since he has been performing in the Broadway Musical “Chicago” in New York, he is successfully staging his passion for music. With his band “Pasquale Aleardi & Die Phonauten” he is celebrating their “anti-depression music” consisting of their own compositions – an infectious mixture of soul, pop and funk.

“Music lead me straight into acting which again made me learn to appreciate photography. The older I get, the more my fascination and curiosity for all types of performing arts is growing. They have become an indispenable source of life and inspiration to me. At this moment in time what is fascinating to me in particular about photography is that it is possible to capture a unique moment from different perspectives forever through the use of effects like dissolves.”
